What is the injustice?

Many people are not given their basic right of being at an equal playing field as others, mainly large banks and corporations, who can easily take advantage of them. These people have their free will partially stripped away because they do not have a full understanding of how to take care of their own imminent financial duties. Without this full understanding, people can easily make mistakes that dangerously affect the rest of their lives. Since the majority of people in America are financially illiterate, this becomes an injustice that affects all of society. There is a clear lack of equity within the capitalist system. As more people make ill-advised financial decisions, the economy takes a hit which can in turn place even more people in a place of inequality.

Banks can abuse their power by preying on uneducated people in vulnerable situations for their own personal gain. Without proper education, more Americans will find themselves being taken advantage of while making financial decisions; this can create a cycle that can be found in other financial spheres, including student loans, car loans, and credit.
